Vendor Biography

Handmade Pretty Things, all created by me, Wendy, based in the scenic Forest of Bowland, located between Lancashire and Yorkshire in the UK. I handcraft felt and fabric decorations, all handstitched and embroidered from the comfort of my home.

I create wool mix felt decorations, many pieces are adorned with embroidery, pretty fabrics and stylish trims. My handmade designs are easy to post, thoughtful gifts, to bring a touch of colour and charm to any space, and make special gifts.  I also love to create special festive pieces, both to add to your Christmas decorations and as heirloom pieces.

My passion for crafting began at a young age, growing up in a creative family where my grandmother and mother, both farmers’ wives, were always busy with knitting, crocheting, rug making, sewing, dressmaking, and quilting—skills they often used out of necessity. Although crochet remains a challenge, I have honed my expertise in other traditional crafts, blending creativity and craftsmanship in each project.
