Description
This lovely piece of textile art was great to sew using the free motion machine embroidery technique. Being able to move the fabric wherever I want allowed me to create the intricate frills of the fringed petals. I used metallic thread for this to highlight them even more and the stems have been stitched with various shades of green.
The tulips have been embroidered onto linen fabric giving the work a lovely vintage feel.
The art has been photographed without the glass but it will be included.
