Worked in muted shades of turquoise, golds and whites with contrasting highlights of black and orange it will enhanced your home providing a sense of serenity to any room. This really is an outstanding work of art.
It is rich in textural beauty. The distant faded foliage has been made by coloring lutrador with micra pigments. This was then distorted with heat to achieve a lacy look which was torn into pieces and then machine embroidered. Weeping willows were then added. Clever use of millinery sinamay has given texture to the reed beds. Reflections have been added. Organza has been layered over the water to create an icy feel in some parts.
In contrast the swans are appliqued on in pure white satin with orange and black highlights.
This is an original work of art made solely my myself.
It has a hanging sleeve on the back.
Baton not supplied but instructions to make a simple one will be sent upon request. The artwork will then hand invisibly from the wall with no means of support showing.
The wall hanging will be sprayed with a fabric protector before being dispatched.
