Red Kites are now thriving in Mid Wales thanks to a successful conservation project. You cannot fail to see these distinctive birds with their forked tails hovering overhead in this beautiful part of the country.
In this stunning work of art I have concentrated on portraying the exquisite markings in this magnificent bird of prey. Each section has been appliqued on and further enhanced with free machine embroidery. The sky is white taffeta which has been inked with whit clouds appliqued on top. The water has many layers of organza coupled with white lace.

This piece comes with a luxurious hand made fringe and has a hanging sleeve on the back. Hanging baton included.
